F1 changes Tires!

01.09.2026 - In MRC pace of the Cars is determined solely By Tire aggression! Risky drive is aggressiveness of the of the driver. Mechanical aggression id engine and it parts cooling. So bearing that in mind. If every driver is running 100 Tire aggression during the race they are run 100% Pace. This just is not how real racing is. The best car fastest car does not always win. Because going to fast overheats the times and melts them. So only way to adjust this is higher Tire wear.

No F1 race should any team be able to run 40 practice laps a stint and be able to run 100 tire aggression in the race. The entire reason for technical skills, Is to get the most setups data running fewer laps in practice. There are current 2 season series that are significantly harder then F1 racing from the perspective of tire management. WPS and World GT. That should not be the case.

While the increase in tire wear is welcome addition adding extra tires Mad F1 easier then all the 2.0 or higher season series. Once again from a tire management perspective. Tire management is essence is Managerial skill using everything you learn in the game. If tire wears on tracks made managers have to use less the 100 Tire aggression for each tire type in F1 than F1 would then be the hardest Season series in MRC if not it will always be ways less the WPS and world GT.

While a knee jerk adjustment now is not the answer saved it for next engine build cycle. But I would keep the current number of tires but remove 1 set of hards! Make no limits on number of pits stops. Pit to much your doomed anyway.

Just my thoughts of F1 tire wear. Build the tire wear into F1 ire sets not the track and it will adjust out perfectly. F1 racing should be a driver Test not just a car engineering marvel.
