USRA President Locked Out for 2 Full Days

16.04.2015 - Chaos befell the U.S. Racing Association as just hours before qualifying, drivers had not been formally submitted to MRC officials leading to the Week 3 Nations Cup races. Fortunately, for the USRA, Secretary adams008 stepped in quickly to resolve the matter and the American team had a team entered into the races, despite the extremely short notice. The association's president, nwheel had informally announced the week's roster prior to his disappearance from activity, and adams008 took action accordingly, slotting all 6 nominees in.

American press contacted nwheel for a statement.

"Tuesday I announced to the team who our drivers would be. I reached out to a driver for input on which track would work best. In the meantime, I left the USA camp to take care of some personal matters. When I returned and attempted to access MRC, I was told that MRC was not available.

Thankfully, our secretary and a few drivers jumped into action and made it happen. I apologize to the team and to the drivers who had so little time to get their machines ready. In the future I will be utilizing other forms of connections to my team to communicate any issues. Our team's premiere driver is Bruce Wayne, and as a fellow Rage manager, I can contact Lee for any future issues like this."

Almost universally, the first question from the press was regarding nwheel's driver and his activities during the absence.

"Wheeler ran his scheduled races without me. My very next task is to check in with him about his performance in qualifying in F3 Worlds. I honestly haven't had a chance to look at any of his results yet. This is my first time stepping foot inside MRC since I left on Tuesday morning. I thought it would be important to make a public statement letting everyone know that I did not intentionally abandon or ignore the USRA drivers, and that if I had control of the situation, I would have handled things in a much different manner."

With the press satisfied, the question becomes, why was nwheel locked out of MRC for 2 days? A question the manager himself cannot answer.
