Buenos Aires, Argentina—Glacier Motorsport is proud to announce Jaden Berg will be participating in the inaugural season of the Formula 4 Argentinian Series in season 67.

After spending two decently successful seasons in the TCS Ibérico series, Jaden is making the switch to open-wheel cars. When asked how difficult the change would be, he had this to say:

“Obviously, any car change is going to pose a challenge, but I think my time in TCS taught me how to go about preparation for each race, you know, in the ways that I setup the car, how I go about practice sessions, how I train and eat, sleeping habits, all that stuff to make a race weekend as efficient as possible, so those things definitely won’t change. My experience in Nations Cup over the past seasons will hopefully make the cars feel less foreign to me as well, so I'm very excited to get out there and see how it feels.’’

Jaden has seen great improvements in both TCS and Nations Cup compared to last season, going from 13th to 6th in TCS with 255 more points and from 33rd to 18th in Nations Cup with 114 more points, respectively. Looking to continue this upward trajectory, Glacier Motorsport will be personally fielding an F4 car for Berg, compared to just the financial backing they were providing in TCS.

Founded by his cousin, Formula One driver James Berg, Glacier Motorsport was started back in his IndyCar days, and since his jump to Formula One with B15 Racing, the team has been dormant, but now they are back in the racing world and looking to provide all the tools to Jaden to help him succeed on his own motorsport journey.

Jaden is showing a lot of potential, and I think we have the right people in the team to be able to push him to be all he can be and hopefully make it to Formula One like I did one day, and I'll be supporting and coaching him the whole way.” - James Berg

“It’s very exciting to basically have a team that's wholly focused on me; it's very different from other teams that usually have 2 or 3 drivers to work with, so it should make getting to know the guys and being able to communicate about car setup a lot easier. I've heard a lot of the team worked with James in his feeder career, so that experience will definitely be a big help, especially in the more hectic parts of the season.” - Jaden Berg

With a good amount of time before the season, Jaden was asked what he’s going to do to get used to the new environment after living in Europe his whole life.

“I'm definitely going to spend these first few weeks seeing some sights and really getting ingrained in the culture that Argentina has to offer; it will be a bit of a culture shock in some parts for sure, but it's best to get all the distractions and temptations out of the way early so I can focus fully on the racing.”

Glacier Motorsport has also been granted special permission to run Jaden with a livery paying homage to the Lotus 079, which they hope will bring some style to the track and deliver good results alongside.
