Al termine della XIX Copa Central Americana Otello Gagliardi conquista il suo primo trofeo da professionista. Il campionato dedicato agli under 21 era partito in sordina nelle prime due gare in Repubblica Domenicana all'Autodrómo Internacional de Las America's con un 4° posto in qualifica e due 5i posti in gara. Ma poi qualcosa è cambiato in Otello e ha vinto 6 gare, 4 pole position e 8 volte il più veloce in gara. Sicuramente l'ultima gara è stata quella più emozionante con una lotta a colpi di sorpasso con lo svedese Leonardo Huayna Fernandez. Anche se a 2 giri dalla fine per un errore si è dovuto accontentare del gradino più basso del podio. Ma l'avversario più ostico è stato sicuramente il connazionale Edoardo Simoni, che fino alla gara di Ponce era davanti. Ma i due ritiri lo hanno levato dalla corsa al trofeo. Decisamente un ottimo risultato che darà più fiducia al Fiorentino, che purtroppo in F4 Central European sta penando essendo 9° in classifica generale con i connazionali Suai e Badoer davanti. Otello si godrà questo trofeo da mettere sulla mensola di casa sua e che vox populi lo vede in partenza dalla serie che sta correndo da due anni. Nessun dato certo e né lui, né il suo manager si sbilanciano, ma probabilmente il prossimo anno passerà in F3. Stay connected.
