I agree track knowledge should play an even bigger role

My Driver has been in one form or another of Cup racing over the last 12 seasons. How the heck can he have only 2%knowledge of these tracks that he has raced at for the last 12 seasons. You want people to pick a route and stay with it. The notebook of knowledge that drivers of these tracks that they race over and over again is huge and for someone to jump in from a different series and just dominate is almost impossible. Juan Montoya in Nascar anyone? how long did it take him from being a top F1/Indy driver to be competitive in Cup. Did he really ever?
