Pirmā sezona F1 ietvaros ir aizvadīta. Pēdējā nedēļā sacīkstes risinājās Brazīlijā un Abu Dabi. Abas trases tika vērtētas kā neitrālas mūsu auto. Ja pilotu kopvērtējumā Ātrumiņš varēja justies samērā komfortabli 12. pozīcijā, tad komandu kopvērtējumā situācija bija pamatīgi saasinājusies. Cīņā par 8. vietu BMW bija pievilkuši līdz vienam punktam.Jau kvalifikācija parādīja, ka iegūt kādu punktu, būs ļoti sarežģīti. Ar perfektu regulējumu un kvalifikāciju bez kļūdām izdevās izcīnīt tikai 16. pozīciju. Sacīkstē, jau 12 aplī tika piedzīvota izstāšanās (otrā šosezon un pirmā pēc braucēja kļūdas), komandas biedram izdevās no 22 vietas startā pakāpties uz 18. pozīciju finišā. Tajā pat laikā BMW izcīnīja vienu punktu un kopvērtējumā izlīdzināja punktu skaitu ar mums, bet tā kā viņiem bija par vienu top5 finišu vairāk, kopvērtējuma tabulā bija priekšā mums, kas nozīmēja, ka pēdējā sacīkstē mums jāiegūst vismaz par vienu punktu vairāk! Abu Dabi kvalifikācijā atkal perfekts regulējums, braucieni bez kļūdām un izcīnīta 12. pozīcija. Ne tik patīkams fakts, bija tas ka viens no BMW izcīnīja 9. starta pozīciju. Sacīkstes sākās ar patīkamo, jo bembists izstājās, bet mums joprojām vajadzēja izcīnīt vismaz vienu punktu. Un tas izdevās pat ar uzviju, jo ar lielisku braukšanu un tādu pat boksu apmeklējumu stratēģiju izdevās izcīnīt 7. vietu finišā, kas vienlaicīgi arī nozīmēja 8. vietu komandu kopvērtējumā! Braucēju kopvērtējumā tā arī tika saglabāta stabilā 12. pozīcija, kas manuprāt nemaz nav slikti priekš pirmās sezonas, ar komandu, kura vēl pirms sezonas sākumu sapņoja vien par dažu punktu iegūšanu ar veiksmes palīdzību! |
