Season 64 is now history.

The last checkered flags have fallen—well… except for NASC, which tends to finish whenever it feels like it. The standings are finally locked, and somewhere out there a few champions are celebrating… while others are still staring at the results page wondering in which race those painful 24 points slipped away.

First of all, congratulations to the champions of every series. Winning a title is never easy. It takes consistency, good decisions, and usually at least one race where everything goes exactly the way you imagined it would.

And of course, congratulations to the runners-up as well. Motorsport history is full of championships lost because of a tiny mistake, an ill-timed safety car, or that one race everyone would rather erase from the calendar.

With Season 64 now complete, we officially enter one of the most interesting moments of the year: the preseason heading into Season 65.

This is the stage where helmets are put away and spreadsheets come out. We look at budgets, review points, double-check age limits… and try to convince ourselves that next season will finally be the one where everything goes perfectly.

And of course, sometimes a few friends step away from the grid as well. Best wishes to Elisabet.

It’s also the moment when certain… optimistic ideas begin to appear.

The 19-year-old driver who “might already be ready” for a top-level prototype series.

The rookie who somehow ends up registered in a championship that costs more than his entire career so far.

We’ve all seen those decisions.

And while ambition is a fundamental part of motorsport, building a career is still much closer to running a marathon than to driving a qualifying lap. I know, I say this every season in this report—but the audience keeps renewing itself.

Drivers who build long careers usually follow a very simple rule:

move up when you’re ready, not just when you’re excited.

A strong season fighting for podiums in a development series almost always does more for a driver’s career than quietly circulating in the midfield of a higher category.

Sponsors look at results.

Fans remember battles on track.

And points—most importantly—build momentum.

So as you begin planning Season 65, it’s worth taking a moment to think strategically.

Choose a series that fits your driver’s age. And above all, choose a championship where finishing inside the Top 5 is a realistic goal.

Because finishing fifth while learning and scoring consistently will open far more doors than finishing fifteenth in a category you weren’t ready for yet.

With that in mind, the updated tables and the different career paths are available to help guide your decisions. They’re not there to limit anyone, but to show a logical progression from development categories all the way to the top of motorsport.

Season 65 is just around the corner.

Choose wisely.

Build patiently.
