Lyn reaches top 200 driver rankings

22.12.2014 - Most race car drivers focus purely on their racing career. Their race results speak for them and that's all that really matters. But there is more to racing than just being fast. Being marketable is just as important. Lyn is a poster child for this approach and her success over the last few months is more proof that modern racing is about more than just speed.

“Air Nippon always races me to my destination!” Lyn proclaimed as she finished her latest in a series of commercials. We met up with her as she prepared to head to her next appointment.

“Isn't it great?” She asked the reporters. “I'm considered a top 200 driver now. I'm super excited and now that I've made it this far I'm going to aim for the top 100. I think I can do it.”

“Now I know what people are thinking; I just made this deal for a series of shampoo commercials and I'm working on releasing a music single.... however, this doesn't mean I'm any less focused on doing well in the Indy Junior series. All of this commercial stuff, it's all about propelling me to even greater heights. Whatever makes me faster, I'll do it.”

We asked Lyn about how she believed the Indy International Junior series would end. “I think Saler and Luca are going to take the first two spots. Third is up for grabs. I'm going to try and take it, but it's going to be very challenging. It's a really strong group of drivers and I have 39 points to make up on Leonardo and Marko.”

“I couldn't be happier about how this season has gone so far. I was aiming for 12th and I'm up to 7th now. More than that I've had a lot of fun taking on Marko, Etele, Alpo and Rocco. All four of them are super talented and I hope I'll get the chance to compete against them again in the future.”
