SAKHIR (BAHRAIN) - Cambia l'ordine dei fattori ma il prodotto non cambia. Le regole matematiche valgono anche in Formula 1 quando si parla dell'Odissea Martini Racing. La squadra italiana centra a Sakhir la terza vittoria consecutiva, piazzando le proprie macchine sui due gradini più alti del podio come a Sepang, anche se stavolta è Alex Botta ad assaporare il gusto della vittoria precedendo sul circuito del Bahrein il compagno di squadra e capofila del mondiale Andre Acarini.La gara è stata in equilibrio fin dal via, con il francese Philippe de Saint-Germain a cercare di rompere l'egemonia italiana sfruttando la sua nuova Red Bull che, unita alle sue abili doti di guida, ha quasi azzerato il gap di inizio stagione dalla monoposto azzurra. Il tutto però non è bastato nemmeno questa volta, vuoi per la ferocia dimostrata in pista dai due piloti italiani vuoi per una strategia di gara quantomeno bizzarra del muretto francese che, anticipando il secondo pit di qualche giro, si è visto costretto a rimandare in pista PSG ancora con gomme hard mentre il duo OMR decideva per un ultimo stint su gomme soft, vanificando cosi ogni possibile speranza di vittoria del rivale. Al via la trama della gara è sembrata subito molto chiara, con i 3 di testa a prendere il largo sul resto del gruppone e nemmeno una Safety Car dopo tre giri, per l'incidente tra Kauss e Kubica, che è costato il ritiro al pilota polacco della Chipper, mutava il copione del Gran Premio. Acarini e Botta inanellavano una serie di giri veloci con PSG che non perdeva il contatto dal duo di testa. AL 13° giro il leader del mondiale commetteva un piccolo errore all'ultima curva che precede i box e sul rettilineo veniva infilato dal compagno di squadra. Il primo a fermarsi è proprio Botta, seguito al giro seguente dal compagno di squadra e dal francese. Il box italiano ha un piccolo problema sull'anteriore sinistra e cosi PSG sopravanza Acarini mettendosi all'inseguimento di Botta. Il pilota italiano è però in giornata di grazia e non lascia alcuna possibilità al rivale transalpino. Per ovviare a questo il muretto francese prova la strategia che abbiamo raccontato all'inizio, compromettendo però cosi il resto della gara. Botta infatti diventa imprendibile e Acarini impiega solo 2 giri a raggiungere e superare PSG andando a centrare la seconda doppietta consecutiva del team italiano. E gli altri?....il resto del gruppo fa una gara a se, staccati di oltre 30 secondi dallo scatenato terzetto di testa. Il primo degli "umani" è cosi Dominik Dan che porta la sua Ferrari ai piedi del podio con una strategia conservativa in partenza e scatendandosi nella seconda parte della gara. Alle sue spalle la Jordan di Libor, l'altra Red Bull di Poucette, la McLaren dell'ungherese Szabo e la seconda Jordan di Kaderabek. A chiudere la zona punti altri due italiani, Guido Di Rado, nono con la sua WAR, e Paolo Grandi che con la Mercedes risale dal 17° posto portando a casa 1 punto che fa almeno un pò di morale per la casa anglo-sudafricana. Nel mondiale piloti Acarini rafforza la sua leadership salendo a quota 68, precedendo ora il compagno di squadra Botta, staccato di 17 punti, il ceco Libor (43 p.) e il rivale più pericoloso Saint-Germain a quota 29. Tra i costruttori ovvio il dominio italiano dell'Odissea Martini Racing che guida la classifica con 119 punti, piu del doppio della Jordan, che segue a 57 e della Ferrari, a quota 42, avvicinata dalla Red Bull salita a quota 41. Prossimo appuntamento a Shangai, dove la pioggia prevista per l'intero weekend rischia di ribaltare tutti i pronostici e scombussolare i reali valori in pista, aprendo la gara veramente proprio a qualsiasi risultato. |
