Cuando inicié en el juego lleve una base de datos con estos valores, y como mi piloto era impreciso guardaba rangos en vez de valores:

No exactamente.
Lo que observamos en el laboratorio es que estos valores cambian según la categoría y el tipo de auto. No podemos trasladar directamente un setup de un F4 a un P3, un Club/TCR o un A1.
Sin embargo, encontramos una relación que puede servirnos como punto de partida:
A1 < F4 < Club/TCR < P3
Por ejemplo, si encontramos que el alerón delantero de referencia para un F4 en Hungaroring es 72, podríamos esperar que:

Estos valores son únicamente ilustrativos. Lo importante no es memorizar esos números, sino entender el concepto:
Encontrar un valor en una categoría puede ayudarnos a acercarnos rápidamente al valor de otra.
Si ya tenemos información de un F4, no necesitamos empezar completamente desde cero cuando nos enfrentamos a un A1, Club/TCR o P3.
Esa información, aunque parezca pequeña, puede convertirse en una ventaja.
En marchas es al revés:
A1> F4 > Club/TCR > P3
¿Qué pasa cuando llueve?
Acá comienza una parte bastante más interesante.
Existe una regla práctica que algunos pilotos utilizan:
Por cada 10% de humedad → aproximadamente +4~ puntos de alerón y -4~ en marchas.
Pero desde nuestro laboratorio consideramos que esta regla debe tomarse como una aproximación y no como una fórmula exacta.
A medida que aumenta la humedad, parece que la relación deja de comportarse de manera lineal.
Por ejemplo, si aplicáramos mecánicamente la regla de +4 puntos:
80% de humedad → 8 × 4 = +32 puntos en alerones y -32 en marchas
Pero nuestra observación es que, especialmente con humedades elevadas, la modificación necesaria puede ser considerablemente mayor que la que obtendríamos aplicando simplemente esta regla.
En otras palabras:
Nuestra sensación actual es que el comportamiento podría ser no lineal: cuanto mayor es la humedad, mayor parece ser la variación necesaria en los alerones y las marchas.
A menor humedad, la regla del ±4 puede servir como una aproximación razonable. A mayor humedad, conviene desconfiar de ella y experimentar con valores más extremos.
Esto todavía es una hipótesis de trabajo, no una verdad comprobada.
Y justamente para eso está el laboratorio.
Tenemos una observación. Tenemos una hipótesis. Ahora falta seguir juntando datos.
