Generations Cup – Season 66Con la disputa de la última carrera, la primera edición de la Generations Cup ha llegado a su fin. En primer lugar, queremos agradecer a los 102 pilotos que formaron parte de esta edición inaugural. Su participación hizo posible convertir una idea en una competición real y demostrar que representar a una generación puede ser tan importante como competir por un campeonato. La Generations Cup nació con el objetivo de reconocer la historia de MRC y reunir a pilotos de una misma época bajo una identidad común. Durante toda la temporada vimos grandes batallas, nuevos rivales, viejos conocidos y un excelente nivel deportivo en todas las categorías. Generation 17 Cup (18-19 años)La generación más joven de MRC dejó en claro que el futuro del automovilismo virtual está asegurado. Podio Final 1- M. Sollfrank (Alemania) – 704 pts Con 6 victorias y 10 podios, Sollfrank dominó la categoría y se convirtió en el primer campeón de la historia de la Generation 17 Cup. Generation 16 Cup (20-23 años)Fue la categoría con mayor convocatoria de toda la competición, reuniendo a 35 pilotos de distintos países y ofreciendo una lucha muy pareja durante toda la temporada. Podio Final 1- J. Diggins (Estados Unidos) – 561 pts Diggins consiguió seis victorias para quedarse con el título, mientras que Estados Unidos logró colocar a dos pilotos entre los tres mejores del campeonato. Generation 15 Cup (24-27 años)Probablemente una de las categorías más equilibradas de toda la edición. El campeonato se definió entre pilotos de tres países distintos, con un altísimo nivel de competitividad. Podio Final 1- J. Sobieski (Polonia) – 633 pts Sobieski se coronó campeón gracias a una notable regularidad, mientras que Robinson fue el piloto con más victorias de la categoría. Generation 14 Cup (28-31 años)La categoría de mayor experiencia ofreció algunos de los mejores duelos de toda la temporada. Podio Final 1- S. Rasmussen (Dinamarca) – 768 pts Con ocho victorias y once podios, Rasmussen firmó una campaña prácticamente perfecta para convertirse en campeón de la categoría. Generation LegendsLa gran novedad de esta primera edición fue la creación de Generation Legends, una división destinada a reunir a los pilotos de 30 años o más sin que pierdan su identidad generacional. La respuesta fue excelente y la categoría ofreció carreras de enorme nivel entre algunos de los pilotos más experimentados de MRC. Podio Final 1- P. de Saint-Germain III (Francia) – 643 pts El piloto francés se convirtió así en el primer campeón de la historia de Generation Legends. Gracias por formar parte de esta historiaLa primera edición de la Generations Cup demostró que este formato tiene un enorme potencial para seguir creciendo. Más allá de los resultados, lo más importante fue ver a pilotos de todo el mundo representando con orgullo a la generación a la que pertenecen. A todos los pilotos que participaron, gracias por el compromiso, el respeto y el gran nivel deportivo mostrado durante toda la temporada. La historia de la Generations Cup recién comienza.
