WAR IS REBRANDING

01.12.2020 - The Windsor Alliance Racing team has decided to do a rebrand.

Why?
Because we decided it makes sense from a marketing point of view to change the team brand. It’s been 30 seasons as Windsor Alliance Racing, and we are very proud of that, a team that started out as a partnership between two communities in MRC, the United Kingdom and the Portuguese community. But that saw that partnership being interrupted when the UK shareholders of WAR lost interest in F1 and decided their time was done. Since then we developed a partnership with the Brazilian community, we had (and still have) many Brazilian shareholders in our team and that brought the interest and support of some Brazilian fans to WAR, but in the last few weeks there were some changes inside WAR in terms of shareholders, some of our Brazilian shareholders decided it was time to invest in a different team and informed us of that decision. With that we have lost some support from our fanbase. That fact has also contributed to our decision to change our Brand.

The Windsor Alliance Racing team project as it stands will be terminated. The memories will stand, good and bad obviously and we will cherish them. We will remember the 6 wins, 30 podiums and 4 poles. And we will also remember the crashes, mechanical failures and missed opportunities. It’s part of history now.

A new ERA will begin for us, WAR will be no more, we are now Tesla Racing Team!!!



We will look to push the envelope further than we have pushed before, maybe taking some risks, because sometimes we can’t climb the ladder by not taking a risk here and there. But MRC F1 is a tricky game...we all know progressing in F1 is a slow process and can’t be done overnight, but we will continue to take solid steps towards improvement.

All of our fans can expect maximum effort in providing them some fun series to race on, we never forget about you guys, the team will continue to provide diversion to all of its fans!
We want to be more involved with our fan base, we will be posting more information than before, we believe it’s important to keep our fan base updated on what happens in our team, and we will surely improve on that area.
The fans play an important role in our team, we have in the past rewarded the fans that have helped the team the most through the donation of voting points, and we will in the future continue to give them the chance to join the shareholding team without spending any amount of coins. Voting points are a big help for our team, so we ask that our fans continue to help us out in that regard by donating voting points to the team, in the end that makes a lot of difference when it comes to the quality of the car we will be presenting each season! We will be publishing some more exciting news for the fans in our next press release that will be out soon! Trust us you will not want to miss it!
