So from season 34 short term sponsors will not offer new contracts if team participated in last race with chassis quality under 85%. In addition to that there will be higher team rating drop after each race.
With all the honesty we believe that in real life if a team takes season off to collect money, sponsors would be mad and would not pay a single penny to the team. For now we would not decrease sponsor deals, we will just forbid signing new contracts with short term sponsors if chassis quality is under 85%.
We believe that any team with reasonable effort can build chassis with at least this quality. Downgrading old chassis would not be a solution unless it is temporary solution for few races at the beginning of the season. But all teams would be highly motivated to build the chassis.
We believe this change will improve the F1 experience.
