McLaren - Team News after 10 races

Hey everyone,now that half of the season is over it’s time for a quick update on McLaren’s season so far and a quick view on future developments. So let’s get started: Season so far After 10 races McLaren is currently 5th in the team standings with 56 points and i think this is reflecting our current car status quite good. Jordan at 4th spot is out of reach with 100 points in front of us but we should keep WAR and Ferrari on 6th and 7th in check. Sadly we couldn’t reach a top 3 finish by now but we hope we can achieve one in the second half of the season. In the driver standings Ivaan Szabo is 7th which we are very satisfied with, he collected 48 points so far. Marcis Jr. Freiverts is 14th with 8 points right now, he shows that he is one of the fastest drivers in qualifying but he is plagued by dnfs in races. I think we can expect more in the remainder of the season, if he gets more lucky. Drivers in Season 11 No surprises here. We are happy to announce that both Szabo and Freiverts will be McLaren’s drivers for the next season, their third F1 season with McLaren in a row. We are happy with the teamwork they show and are satisfied with the results. This season had streaks of bad luck so far and we are confident that this should normalize in the upcoming weeks and season. Development for Season 11 Not much to see here right now, we are currently developing our chassis for season 11. Additionally we upgraded a few facilitites and we now have a level 5 headquarter, employee club and museum at our disposal. New owner Swiss manager Blackwatch (manager of young driver Peter Gethin) joined our owner circle by auction at the beginning of this season with a winning bid of 700 coins. Welcome and we are looking forward to a good cooperation! Increasing fan base Since the beginning of the season 13 players decided to join our McLaren fan club. Big thanks to all of you, we now have 74 fans from all over the world with Great Britain having the largest fan base.
