Merry Christmas!

English 18.12.2019 13:16:12
This year's festive season comes with a special race and an important competition!
So yes, another year has gone by, and the festivities are among us. But before we say our best wishes, there's two things we want to share with you...

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS RACE

So, a very special race will be held on Christmas Eve. The attention of the MRC world will turn to the South Pole, where a 20 kilometre race track has been laid. Qualifications will be open to everybody who buys the very special car needed for the weather... The Santa Sledge!

It costs only 3 coins and you will find it in your Garage Page, then you will find the race as if it were a Single Race for Private Cars. Qualification will be held on Monday 23 at 8 pm CET. The 50 best qualifiers will go on to race on Tuesday 24 8 pm, but don't you think the 50 best rated guys will make the race...The sledge is equipped with wooden or iron "tyres" for this event and choosing the right materials might make the difference to qualifying and/or completing the race.

So, we hope many of you join us in the coldest, most festive MRC race ever!

NEW NATIONS CAR COMPETITION

And the second thing is a very important one. As you know, the Nations Car is based on the model used from 2005 in real life. That competition disappeared long ago and we thought this could be a way of having a true MRC Nations Car, and one designed by one of us managers. So here is the brief...

-What: We want a new Nations Car. Designs will have to be in line with current safety measures, so it will have to have a halo or aeroscreen but otherwise feel free to let your imagination fly, it can have a roll-over hoop or an airbox, big wings, small wings, shark fins...

-How: Designs will have to be 800x200 or 1600x400 pixels in size, and in GIF, JPG or PNG formats. Ideally they should be like a template with transparencies, but we will initially accept everything if it meets size and format.

-When: The period for sending in designs will last one month, from today until January 18th. After that, approved designs will be published and a voting will be organised.

-Where: Your designs (up to three per person) shall be sent to competition@myracingcareer.com.

-Prize: The winning designer will forever link his name to the car as all participants will use it. For example, if John wins, then all drivers will drive the John J1, or whatever John wants to call his car. Also, a special unique prize will be given to the designer. But we're still thinking of that unique prize so...it's a secret for now!

That's all for now. May all of you enjoy peace and happiness with your friends and families. From all of us at My Racing Career, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
