CIP stagione 58 - il riassunto

Come ogni stagione che si rispetti, anche la stagione 58 ha visto prendere il via al Campionato Italiano F4, destinato a piloti italiani, su piste italiane. La competizione è giunta al termine ed è dunque il momento di trarre delle conclusioni, più o meno seriose.MORTE, TASSE, TARUFFI CAMPIONE D'ITALIA Ci ha provato Leone Jr la scorsa stagione, inutilmente (anche se solo per qualche manciata di punti). Ci hanno provato De Angeliis, Fisichella e Leone Jr questa stagione, ancora inutilmente. A portarsi a casa il titolo di campione italiano è, per la SETTIMA volta consecutiva, Pierino Taruffi. Un regno che sembra non avere più fine per l'ultimo rappresentante italiano in F1 che,pur faticando un poco, riesce a difendere per l'ennesima volta il titolo dall'assalto dei suoi più accaniti oppositori grazie a 7 vittorie ma soprattutto con 16 piazzamenti tra i primi 5, quattro in più del secondo classificato De Angeliis. DE ANGELIIS E CLASSE: MR. DIESEL Per il due volte campione del mondo F3 appena nominato si tratta del proprio miglior risultato di sempre nel CIP, un risultato ottenuto con un filotto impressionante a fine campionato: 2.118 sono infatti i punti conquistati nelle ultime 5 gare, un bottino che ha permesso a De Angeliis di superare ben 3 piloti, impresa non da poco considerato il livello dei piloti arrivatigli alle spalle. Il pilota del TCR Benelux non è il solo però ad aver racimolato tanti dei suoi punti nelle fasi finali del campionato. Anche Ferdinando Classe ha dimostrato di aver bisogno di tempo per carburare ed ottenere buoni risultati; come per De Angeliis, infatti, le gare corse sugli ultimi 3 circuiti hanno permesso a Classe (al momento impegnato in Euro Open F3) di racimolare gran parte dei suoi punti - 503 su 786 - tra Mugello, Campione e Monza. CHI BEN COMINCIA...NON E' DETTO CHE FINISCA ALTRETTANTO BENE E' vero, è bello finire un campionato alla grande, con un rimontone nelle ultime gare, ma è altrettanto vero che un finale in grande spolvero come quello di De Angeliis e Classe lascia dell'amaro in bocca. E se fossero arrivati gli stessi risultati nella prima parte di stagione? C'è qualcuno che, al contrario dei piloti appena menzionati, ha manifestato un grande passo ad inizio stagione per poi rilassarsi e staccare un po' il piede dall'acceleratore. Raffaele Leo e Gabriele Minì, per esempio. I due si sono imposti nella prima metà di campionato con una serie di risultati, a dirla tutta, abbastanza sorprendenti; Leo, trascinatore in Nations U25, ha portato a casa anche una vittoria in quel di Misano, mentre Minì ha mostrato nella prima metà di stagione una serie di grandissimi risultati - addirittura 4 top15 consecutive incluso un 5° posto ad Imola - che gli sono valsi ben 525 dei suoi 714 punti totali. ONDA VERDE GIOVANARDI Se abbiamo parlato di chi ha avuto degli exploit limitati a soltanto qualche gara del CIP, ora è il momento di citare chi, per tutti i 20 gran premi percorsi, si è fatto notare per la sua costanza nei piazzamenti finali; primo tra questi Paolo Piedone Giovanardi. Si potrebbe pensare, a giudicare dal suo ruolino di marcia, che Piedone avesse comprato per questa stagione un abbonamento alle posizioni tra la 6 e la 10; ben 14 volte si è classificato lì il pilota Ferrari-prototipi. Menzione d'onore (ma non particolarmente) per Gian Sarti; il tanto giovane quanto acerbo e promettente ragazzo 19enne si è infatti accaparrato quasi spesso una delle ultime posizioni al traguardo, ma siamo sicuri che, con le stagioni a venire, avrà modo di affinare le sue doti e dire la sua già nelle categorie dedicate ai piloti giovani. NON MOLLARE GIAN! COME DIAVOLO CI SONO FINITO QUI? Come un pesce fuor d'acqua che ha vita breve, così è stata anche la permanenza di questi due piloti in ranghi che decisamente non appartenevano loro. Otello Gagliardi e Fabrizio Facchinetti si sono resi protagonisti di due vere e proprie imprese sportive. Gagliardi ha infatti cacciato dal cilindro uno dei conigli più grossi che si possano immaginare in quel di Pescara: una gara stravagante, come del resto quasi sempre su questo lungo e particolare tracciato, gli ha permesso infatti di arrivare sul gradino più basso del podio in gara1. Facchinetti invece, pilota solitamente relegato ai bassifondi della classifica, è riuscito a sfruttare una strategia vincente, oltre ai tanti ritiri di cui parleremo più avanti), per arrivare in 13° posizione a Campione. Risultato a dir poco sorprendente se si considera che il secondo suo miglior piazzamento è 23°. I DEMOLITION DERBY DI CAMPIONE C'è chi finisce sempre nelle stesse posizioni, c'è chi delle volte si trova dove nemmeno lui stesso pensava di poter arrivare, ma siamo nel mondo del motorsport e può capitare spesso, se non quasi sempre, di non terminare la propria gara; colpa di incidenti, problemi meccanici, errori di guida, mille sono i motivi per cui i piloti a volte terminano la propria gara anzitempo; a Campione li abbiamo visti tutti. Sono ben VENTIDUE i ritiri che abbiamo visto nella capitale italiana della ludopatia, più di ogni altro circuito questa stagione; chissà, magari i piloti avevano fretta e furia di togliersi la tuta di dosso per poter andare a fare qualche puntata alle roulette o ai tavoli del blackjack... Se avete altre idee per chicche/curiosità da tenere d'occhio per le prossime edizioni del CIP sono tutto occhi ed orecchie, non abbiate paura a consigliarmi.
